This is where we keep you updated on what's happening in the GGO world, what's new in vibrators and what's going on in our lives. do we have on the agenda this week, Viv? Well, we have been working for over a year now on a collaboration with Constance Hall, which is gonna be launched mid December, and I cannot wait. Like three, less than three weeks now. Less than three weeks. And trust me when I say this testing research development process has taken time because...

But yeah, this has been, I'd say over a year and a half in the making now. Yeah, over a year and a half. And the main problems she wanted to solve with the toy were a slightly longer handle for different size bodies and just so you didn't have to reach down too far. And then secondly, something that could stay just in place.

How has this happened? It happens every year. I feel, especially when you are working in e-commerce, everyone has their eyes set on preparing for Black Friday sales and everyone works so hard up until that point and that's all anyone can ever talk about. And then you realise that's only a month from Christmas or three weeks from Christmas. So, so wild. This one's really caught me by surprise, but I've realised in the last couple of weeks that my mind works last minute and that's it.

I have been trying to learn from the years previously coming up till Christmas and I started planning what we'd do for Christmas and stuff at the start of this year. This was a main thing because we've missed it every year. Yesterday, I had the idea of what we're doing for Christmas. I'm like, for fuck's sake, now I've got to wait until next Christmas. So good to know that my mind lacks a bit of pressure and this is where I'll do the best work.

If you have been following us on social media the last couple of weeks, we have a new member of the team, aka the new Volvo pillow, which will be used to do some demonstrations for different toys that can be put on the website, because we don't want you to have any mental gymnastics when choosing a toy. But we needed a name for the pillow, so we had a very rigorous journey to find the final name, Clitopatra. I personally, when I was reading the submissions of what people wanted to call the Volvo pillow,

cracked up laughing at Labia Gaga, but she didn't even make it through past the heat. She got into the semi-finals, that was, well, I guess it's quarter finals, isn't it? But that was just because we needed another name, but what were your favorites? Well, this is the thing. I feel like it was an unfair process. what's it when I dispute the results? But I feel like Labia Gaga

was destined to fail because she was up against Queen Laquefa. like each time, and Queen Laquefa was winning, but if Labia Gaga had been up against a different one that wasn't as good, I reckon she would have kept making it through. I know there were different. This is my theory. There were different. It was never going to be a fully fair test. But we got there in the end. Trying to settle me down because I'm passionate about my.

Well that's why when I was doing the different rounds of voting I tried to split up the ones which seemed that were going to be more popular into different groups so that there would be a bit more contention you know. I also really liked Penis Flytrap but that was out voted by something else I can't remember now that made me laugh a lot too. That just took me two seconds to get it but once I got it because I was like why would we call it something to do with penis but that's so funny how good.

love that. Well, as long as you can say clitorpatra easier than I can, because I'm glad you're making the videos. It does not roll off my tongue easy. So clitorpatra it is. All right. And the last thing is the naughty party boxes I've been working on and I haven't quite figured out the name for them yet. They would do like I had my cutoff of when I needed to have it done by, and that was last week. So.

We're running a bit behind on schedule, although it's coming together so great. I'm so stoked. So usually with like six toy party boxes and stuff, think, I forget who does that one that everyone does. And it's more like somebody comes and they host it and they've got toys and everything like that to try and sell you and everything.

This is going away from that and just making it kind of accessible to everyone. So anybody, whether it's a hen's night, a girl's night, Christmas party, I don't know, you name it, you can have some fun. So it's got like games and stuff you can choose from and everything's in the kit, but it's all just going to be like a downloadable kit online. It's going to be $49.95. But well, $49.95 or something, something around there, $49. I don't know.

But you're also going to get a $50 girls get off voucher to give to the winner of the games. So it's like, how can you not? It's basically free. Isn't that just like a no brainer? You get paid, you get paid $1. I'm stoked. Hopefully that will go really well. Can't wait to see everybody's stories and stuff. I will get it done. It is a priority. It is getting done in the next week or so. And

Yeah, so just in time for hen's parties summer, you name it. Fun times. That will be so much easier for people planning hen's parties. They're always tricky to get different and new games for, so that will be a huge help. If anyone's been following the brand for a while, you'll know that games are our thing. we love our six-party games. We love different games.

So I was in LA this week with our Chinese supplier. was helping her out with some meetings. think the reason I was there was to help. In particular, when you're going from Chinese to English, that can be a big jump. to have someone else there who understands, can bridge the gap while your brain processes the information. But also it would be like if one of you guys went to China and you're so overwhelmed by what's happening. You don't understand anything there is.

no English on any signs anywhere, then it's nice to have someone to accompany you. So same goes for someone from China going to America. There is no Chinese on any signs. It's not like going to anywhere else in the world where you have a little translation somewhere here and there, or someone else could maybe help you out like Disney one.

speak English or does anyone speak Chinese? No. we, even things like booking Ubers, like making sure you go to the right place. They use a different map system. They don't use Uber in China. So everything like that is all different. So that was heaps of fun. But with that came some pretty funny lost in translations, lost in translation moments. One being when I asked Emma, the supplier, what were you like at school as a student? Were you a good student? And she said,

I was a playboy. I don't know if that's what you meant Emma. I said, were you kissing boys? She said, no, no, no, no, no. I wasn't doing that. I said, were you playing lots of sport? Were you a tomboy? And she said, yes. I thought, I don't really know what that means with schoolwork, but she said she did study well. So I'm not quite sure what was going on there. And then another one, just even in Australia, I say they've instead of.

Viv, if someone asked me my name for coffee, for example. So even in Australia, people will say, what? Viv, if I say Viv. So when I'm in America, that is like 10x. And we were at a cafe one morning. I said, can I please have a long black? And she said, I'm sorry, what? I said, I don't know, like an Americano or a long black. And she said, a long black? What do you mean a long black? And I thought, my gosh.

Again, Kiwi accent, they do not understand. said, what do you say when you just want a black coffee? And she said like a drip coffee, just black coffee is fine. Very funny, very funny moments. There was quite a few moments where, especially when Emma was at the end of the day and she's been using her brain so like all day in English. And there was a few moments where we just used our phones and translated a few times. It was good fun. my gosh. And yeah, for...

How do you explain just talking to Emma in general? She is the funniest person ever. She's so open, so black and white. how do you, I don't even know how to describe it, but just the stuff that comes out of her mouth is hilarious. And how's this? We went to Universal Studios on one of the afternoons that we had free.

And imagine walking around, again, this would be the same if you went to China, walking around Universal Studios through Harry Potter, through The Simpsons. She'd never, she's never seen Harry Potter or watched Harry Potter. She understands and has like recognized him. She had no idea who The Simpsons were. She said, I think I recognize this and translated something on her phone to which I cracked up laughing. Pause for a second. I said, I understand what you mean Emma, but I don't think that.

This is translated well to English. She had said, she's like, stop laughing at me. I'm like, I just, this is, this is wild. The translation on her phone, she said, they have capitalists manipulating Americans. That's the thing about The Simpsons. I'm like.

have no idea what this means, but whatever. Anyway, it's so wild. And she's funny. She is hilarious. She's always a good time. We love Emma. So good. Yeah. I think, like, I mean, that example there, I think people already have a... From going to China and being there, I think anyone could...

agree that I think the propaganda goes both ways. Like we are told that China is scary and China is told that the West is scary. And when you're there, you understand that that's not at all the case. that example of that will be an example of the Chinese whatever telling them that America is scary and it's not from a place of yeah, America's.

bad, it's just, it's different and it's unusual. So to see the Simpsons, I was like, don't know if this is what you mean, but I'm here for it. How good. Love it. Okay. And my life has not been as exciting as going to LA. you know, just the standard get through to the end of the week vibe. But you have been on the apps. I, I'm.

I'm enjoying the apps in that I feel like it will because I've got no pressure on because I don't want to date anyone so I can just enjoy it. If I'm trying to find someone I don't enjoy it. But I think it's like my meditation. You know what I mean? You can just do do do like just like not think about anything and just be nosy. So yeah, we're liking it at the moment. A few things have

stood out. One, I loved this guy's profile. Not often do you crack up when you read a profile, right? But this one made me cackle. His bio is three truths and a lie. One, over six foot. Two, over six inches. Three, over six figures. Or four, never sat on a horse. And then you scroll down his profile and you see that his height

is 183, so he's over six foot, so tech. Then you scroll down and the next thing is a photo of him on a horse. And so I just cracked up because then like the lie has to be over six inches or over six figures. And I'm like, this is just, that is such, such good from him. Well played. Yeah, very good. And I...

Received such a lovely message, didn't I, from one little Hingerian or whatever we call people on hinge, I don't know. A hinge-er. hinge is good. Yeah, wasn't that the sweetest? I sent a screenshot to Viv. I'm like, aww. But I've decided, well, I haven't just decided it's been a long thing, but I need to date someone that's had kids, so.

What was the message? Give us the, what did they message you? Cause he liked you first, right? Yeah. Yeah. And he said, he liked one of my photos. said, praise be to the universe. Joe, I have wanted to match with you for some time now. I am a fan and very attracted to you. would be a real treat to meet you in person. Isn't that lovely? Is that lovely or not? So kind.

So lovely. you went silent then. I'm like, just like a raw, nice, honest message. Doesn't that just come across like not your standard, hey, how are you? I was like, yeah, it's really authentic. Really authentic. Yeah. So there's a good guy out on Hinge in the Tooronga area people. If anybody needs a recommendation, I will flick you his profile.

Obviously great communication skills. The part that made him nicest was the way that he responded after you said to him, like, thanks, but no thanks. I want someone who's like no risk of having kids essentially. Yeah, I said, I never replied to anyone on here, but that was such a sweet message. I have a rule only to date someone that has kids for a couple of reasons. So I'll leave it here, but thanks.

but just wanted to say thanks for putting a smile on my face. And yeah, his reply was, respect that, I'm gutted. It's actually a really valid requirement when I think about it. I can maybe see some good reasons for that. If you ever feel like being surprised or potentially proven wrong, I would love to keep in touch. I'll leave my number here.
